Gunung Tahan is the highest mountain in the Peninsula Malaysia. With a height of 2,187m asl, it offers a spectacular mountain view of the Tahan mountain range. The peak of this mountain is larger than most other mountains in Malaysia and promises that your climb will be worth all the effort. Get on the trail and explore some of the best sights in the tropical rainforest. The journey to the peak takes about 4 days 3 nights and getting there is also an adventure by itself and is something that most hikers will cherish for a life time.

Located in Hulu Dungun and 100 kilometres from Kuala Terengganu, Chemerong waterfall offers a good hiking spot for any outdoor and hiking enthusiasts. At a height of 305 metres and appearing like a giant human figure, the waterfall can be accessed by one or two hours of jungle trekking depending on hiking experience. Upon reaching the waterfall, visitors can opt to follow hiking trails to a nearby mountain, Mt. Berembun [1038m asl] and visit Langsir Waterfall as well. Trekkers would usually embark on this 3 days 2 nights hiking and camping expedition combining all three spots into one Chemerong-Berembun-Langsir [CBL].
